At a warehouse in Yekaterinburg, a customer replaced the original BT 310×120-80 tires with alternatives from a local catalog:

The outer diameter was identical, and the mounting diameter was the same. Fourteen days later, this reach truck began to “wobble” while reversing. What was the cause? The replacement tire’s polyurethane modulus of elasticity was 18% lower. The material compressed under load, altering the axle inclination—thereby disrupting the driving geometry. Compatibility is not just about geometry; the following parameters must also match:

All parameters are not simply “copied,” but determined through CAE simulation. We input actual data into the system: the stacker’s weight, floor type, lifts per hour, and average stacking height. The program calculates stress in the contact area, hub deflection, and heat dissipation during prolonged operation. Only then is the material poured, cured under strictly controlled temperatures, and the geometry inspected using a laser scanner.

The result: performance parameters match OEM samples with 99.7% accuracy. This is not merely “almost identical to the original,” but fully compliant with the engineering specifications of CROWN, ATLET, or HYSTER.
